Leon Cerrone is a model and manager of the Richard James flagship store on Savile Row. Leon is photographed in and around Soho but is in the process of relocating to Glasgow.

What’s the best thing that's happened to you today?

Managing to string my 3rd run in a week after being on and off injured for way too long to remember!

What are your top 4 current inspirations?

My wife Jess, who’s a nurse, her dedication before, during, and after the pandemic is an amazing inspiration, my Dad, my Italian family heritage, and my creative friends.

Is there anything you’re really into that other people might consider obscure/unknown?

Ha, I’m a bit of a Vietnam war geek and have been collecting books, clothes, and other bits related to it for years. I guess I’m fascinated by all the social upheaval that was happening alongside it too. The black power and civil rights movement, Woodstock and hippie movement also.

Do you collect anything?

My Vietnam collection, records, and books… Jess can’t wait to move them all up north!!!

Is there an indulgence you could never give up?

Italian food! I don’t think I could ever give that up. My father would never forgive me. Also, music is a massive part of my life, you’ll probably never find me without a set of earphones!

Can you think of a specific problem in the world you’d really like to solve?

There are so many, but the difference between the haves and have nots I’d say. But just try and be a better person myself, in everything I do.

How do you try to be responsible in your work?

I mean in my own daily life I try and ride commute to work and just be responsible for the things I consume. People will probably roll their eyes at this and say you can’t! But I do try and be a responsible meat-eater, I only try and buy meat from a good locally sourced butcher and just try to cut down my meat intake.

Tell us about a belief you had early on in life that you now feel differently about.

I’m an advocate for mental health as I suffer with depression, early on in life I thought this was something to be ashamed about, but not anymore.

What was the last song you listened to?

Remember Me by Blue Boy

What would be the title of your memoir?

You can’t stop the waves, but you can learn to surf them

Do you believe in an afterlife?

That’s a hard one and in all honesty, I’ve never thought about it that much. Maybe there is, we have to go somewhere right?
